"The Invention"

by Brad Gromelski

June 27 and 28 only!

FUSION's Gift to Families of the Community

"The Invention" cast: Ross Kelly, Jared Herholtz, Kate Costello, Bruce Holmes and Scott Bryan

FUSION Theatre Company with the support of the Urban Enhancement Trust Fund presents "The Invention," a fun, fantastical tale by Brad Gromelski. As a gift to the community, all performances are free of charge!

Taking Albert Einstein’s maxim, "Imagination is more important than knowledge," into the realm of the theatrical, playwright Gromelski has created a completely interactive play. The story takes the audience on a journey of scientific discovery, imagination, and heroic deeds. Joined by three wacky merchants, an enlightened philosopher, an inspired scientist, and a pragmatic mechanic, the audience confronts the challenges of collaboration and the virtues of honoring a diversity of ideas and points of view. And, of course, there is a surprise happy ending! The cast features Ross Kelly, Jared Herholtz, Kate Costello, Bruce Holmes and Scott Bryan. Jacqueline Reid directs the production.

Public performance schedule:
Saturday, June 27th, 9:00 AM, Downtown Growers’ Market, Robinson Park
Saturday, June 27th, 2:00 PM, The Cell Theatre [see below]
Sunday, June 28th, 11:00 AM, Kit Carson Park
Performances are geared to children age 11 and under and their parents.
